A few quick notes, then I will be posting from my exciting visit at Cushing Academy today:
A big thanks to NAIS and President Pat Bassett for mentioning me and providing the link to my blog on the NAIS E-Bulletin today:
“HOW INNOVATIVE IS YOUR SCHOOL?
Join Grant Lichtman as he visits 60 schools to report on how innovative programs and people are rising to the challenge of the 21st Century. Follow his blog: The Learning Pond. ”
This journey is about education, public and private. Both have so much to offer as we have seen on this journey. I look forward to increased sharing amongst all schools so we can take what works and move forward. NAIS has been and is a powerful tool for collaborative learning, one of the clear hallmarks of schools that truly innovate. I am looking forward to sharing details on my journey with talks to SAIS, ISASW, and VAIS, and would be happy to come to other groups if you are interested.
The weather has turned grey and wet, so I am turning south on Friday, headed for D.C. next week, and looking forward to starting the week with a meeting with Pat and team at NAIS. I am almost to the halfway point on this journey. I hope you will continue to check the blog and share it with your colleagues. There are so many great ideas at each of these schools, all there for the sharing.
Thanks to all for following and keeping my energy up!
